I love shopping. I love shopping for my kids and my husband and of course I enjoy shopping for shoes and bags for myself (my closest friends can attest to that. LOL).
But if there is one shopping trip that I love the most, then it would be our trip to Puregold Grocery store two days before Christmas:
My friend and kumareng Aubrey, shared with me the project of their office which is to be able to collect 50,000 noche Buena baskets to be distributed to the victims of Typhoon Sendong. I shared it also with my friends and in an instant I received cash donations so I can buy grocery items for their Noche Buena baskets that I will deliver at my friend’s house.
So that same afternoon, my husband and I went shopping for our donation and our friend’s donation and it was a very memorable shopping experience. I was overjoyed as I shop for items which we hope will lessen the pain that the victims are feeling now especially since the tragic incident happened just a few days before Christmas.
I am thankful that my friend let me be a part of this.
