Pacquiao vs Margarito on November 13

For a long time, we are all waiting on who will Manny Pacquiao fight this coming November. A lot hoped that it will be Floyd Mayweather Jr but negotiations between the two camps did not prosper as they can’t agree on a lot of things.

And so just a few days ago, Manny Pacquiao’s promoter, Bob Arum, announced that it will be the Mexican boxer, Antonio Margarito whom Manny will face on November 13.

Workout Routines = Fit & Healthy

I have been on a diet for two months now but sad to say that in those two months, I was only able to shed off four pounds from my weight. I did not consult any dietician but instead I just made my own diet program by just cutting down on my carbohydrates intake. But I guess this program is really not working for me as it has been months already and I still haven’t met my weight loss goal.

Living Healthy

Because of the sudden death of my mother-in-law due to cancer, my husband and his siblings suddenly became health conscious as they have learned that the cause of their mother’s death is hereditary. One of the things that they all plan to do is have an executive check-up so at least they will be able to know early their health condition. New Shows I Love

One of the reasons why I am excited to go home after work aside from the fact that I will get to see my kids is because I am excited to watch two of my current favorite shows, Magkaribal and Survivor Philippines.

I love the story line of Magkaribal. I love all the characters and they are really good and they really portray their roles well. I am excited to see how Vera will survive now that Manuel is gone and she is out of Vera Couture. From the last episode she will try to sell diamonds and this will be her source of income but from the preview for tomorrow’s episode, a number of individuals are running after her because all her cheque payments bounced due to lack of funds. I am so excited also to know who will win the Metro Magazine’s designer’s competition. Will it be Gelai? But I am sad to know that Louie will be leaving Gelai. I wonder what’s up next for Gelai and Victoria.

As for Survivor, I have been a fan of this show ever since and I am more excited to watch it since it is our local celebrities who are vying to win three million pesos and the title of becoming the first celebrity survivor.

This is the reason why I am always late to start work every night.

Shopping for Me

Since I get off from work early on a Friday, my mom and dad fetched me together with Jacobo after they brought B to school. Then we all went to the mall near B’s school while we wait for her to get off from school.

I love shopping at the Guess store there as their items are always on sale. I tried on a Capri pants and I asked for the assistance of the sales lady. She asked for my waistline and I almost collapsed as I don’t know how to tell her my size. LOL. (I guess I really need to take the best diet pill for women so I will loose weight soon). But I manage to whisper to the sales clerk my size because I have no choice; I need to buy new pants because my pre-pregnancy clothes still doesn’t fit me.

Thankfully, they have stock for my size. I was also at the same store last week and their biggest available size that time was size 27 only. LOL. I really like the style of the pants and I love the color (which is black) so I am really glad when I was able to go home with my new Capri pants and I am so excited that I will already use it tomorrow.

Mom with Two Kids

We had a high profile visitor at work today and we had a meet and great session and picture taking after that. This is really not a good timing as I have acne breakouts again because I have been sleeping late ever since I gave birth. (I think it is really time for me to find the best acne solution to cure my acne problem.) I have no interest to look at the picture as I am sure I will not look good in that picture.

I know I really look so haggard and stressed out and my acne is not really helping to make me look better. I haven’t visited my dermatologist for months now as I really can’t find the time to take a time out for some self pampering. I guess this is the life if you have two kids already, you will really have less time left to take care of yourself.

Back To Reality

It is my second week back at work and although I am still in vacation mode after being away from work for seventy-eight days, I have no choice but to be busy and start working again.

But you know how it is when you have been home long so I am still getting used to my busy schedule at work, the daily stress that I have to take when commuting and add to that my duties to Jacobo, B and hubby when I reached home. How I wish I have those heated mattress pads so I can relax and have a good night sleep especially during those cold nights after a very busy and long day.

But I am sure I will get my groove back in time. Besides I really don’t have a choice as I can’t afford to loose my job so I really have to work hard and accept the reality that I am no longer on vacation and I am back to the real world of being a paid employee.

Merry Christmas

B is already requesting that we put our Christmas tree and mini led christmas lights when she heard me and our mom talking about Christmas the other day. You see in my part of the world, Christmas begins when the “BER” months enter. You can hear Christmas carols being played in the radio already, TV stations are already starting a countdown already to Christmas, the malls are already selling Christmas decorations and some of them even started to put up Christmas decorations already.

Though we wanted to give in to B’s request and setup our Christmas tree, we still have to do some cleaning first as we need to make room for our big Christmas tree. I am not sure though when we can find the time to start with the clean up as our weekends are always full that we are always out.

At least we still have more than two months left to prepare and setup our Christmas tree before Christmas arrives.

A Gift from Hubby

Hubby wants to give me something as his push gift for me. I kept on telling him that I want a bag and I already emailed him the bag brand and styles that I want but he always says no. He said that I have tons of bags already and he really wanted to give me something that I can really use.

So I thought of asking him for:

• LCD TV for our room or
• Asus laptop

It will be really nice to have a TV in our room so we can watch while we put B and Cobi to sleep but hubby said that it is not a good idea since B will sleep late also if she sees that the television is still on.

So I am down to my last choice which is the laptop. I need a new laptop anyways since my old laptop is very slow already and it can no longer cope up with my multi tasking routine.

So finally, I was able to give him my final answer – a laptop it is.

Crossing our Fingers for Orlando by 2011

Hubby will be leaving next week for four-day training in Bangkok, Thailand. He actually tried to say no for this training as he is targeting the next schedule for this training in June 2011 because the venue is in the US and so he is thinking that it will be a perfect time for us to go to Orlando.

Jacobo will be one year old already by then so it will be easier for us as he is already a little bigger and hopefully more controllable and behave. And since hubby’s airfare is already free, we only have to think of my airfare and B’s airfare since Jacobo can still ride the plane for free.

Hubby was so excited already that he already checked out orlando car rental so he can plan our itinerary. He was already telling B about it and B was really excited. It will also be Jacobo’s birthday month so it will be a perfect birthday gift for him.

But hubby got the news today and his boss really wants him to attend the training now as they can’t wait for him to learn the software so he can share his knowledge and help the section concern in using the software.

Oh well, maybe it is really not meant to be but I am sure hubby will find another training that he can attend to next year so we are still not closing the possibility of being able to bring the kids to the US by 2011 (crossing my fingers).

Out with the Old..In with the New

My aunt was at our house the other day and she suddenly commented on our curtain which was her gift to us during our wedding five years ago. And this made me realized that I haven’t replaced it since she gave it to us. We will only remove it when it is time for our house help to wash it but I never really took time to shop for more curtains to replace the one and only curtain that we have. LOL. I guess this just only shows that I am no domestic goddess really.

But I guess that curtain has served its purpose for five years already and it is time for me to replace it. But I am thinking to get custom blinds instead as it is more modern looking and much easier to clean. I did some online window shopping already and I saw a lot of nice designs like the faux wood blinds.

I promised my aunt that I will really take time to replace our old curtains and assured her that she will see our new blinds installed when she comes back to visit us.
