Lucky Number 8

8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1

Eight more days and hubby is finally coming back home. Thank you for the power of technology because at least even if hubby is away, I was able to talk to him almost every day via yahoo messenger or via email. If the connection in his hotel is also good, we get to see him via webcam too and he can also watch while his baby love gives him hugs and kisses.

I am sure that he miss us so much too because he particularly ask me to book for a vacation on the weekend that he comes back. I would have wanted to book one of those Branson vacation packages where we can enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming in the lakes of Branson or enjoy the rides and attractions at Silver Dollar City. But since I am already seven months pregnant, we can plan for a Branson vacation maybe when our second baby is old enough to travel.

So for now, I might book any hotels in the city again where we can just sleep, relax, enjoy the pool, enjoy the food, and just have fun together or we can drive a few hours north and enjoy the beach which I am sure B will surely enjoy.

I’m really excited already and I can’t wait to see hubby again. Eight more days…

Jollibee Delivery Service

Jollibee only offers one method if you want to order from them - you just have to dial 8-7000. What I like about their system is that they maintain a database based on the contact number that you use to call them so they just have to verify the delivery address that they got from their database instead of asking the same information from the callers every time they place an order.

Jollibee also offers a wider variety for their breakfast menu as compared to McDo. Even their chicken joy meals and burger meals are available for breakfast and they even give free newspaper.

They accept cash, credit cards and Citi Mobile as their mode of payment. They guarantee delivery within 30 minutes and so far they never fail to deliver within their time limit.

The cons of Jollibee delivery service for me:

• Every time I choose to pay via credit card, there will always be a glitch – either the delivery boy doesn’t know how to operate the credit card machine, or the credit card machine is low battery so they can’t allow me to use my credit card to pay for my order. But maybe this problem is just particular for the Jollibee branch that is near our house and some branches will not have this glitch.
• They have a minimum required order of P200 so even if I only need to order for myself, I will be ordering extra to meet their minimum requirement for delivery.

McDelivery Service

For the past two days, B and I have been living with food delivery service. We tried both the delivery service of Jollibee and Mc Donalds and I just want to blog about them here for comparison. For this post, I will concentrate in talking about McDelivery Service:

McDonalds offer two ways where you can order for delivery:

1. Using any cell phones or landline, you can dial 8-Mcdo where their operator will get your order, address of delivery and mode of payment.
2. They also have an online site, where you can choose what items you want delivered and then fill up the contact information and after a few minutes, their operator will contact you to confirm your order and mode of payment.

They accept cash, card and Citi Mobile as their modes of payment. I always use Citi Mobile every time I order from them and the procedure is just easy breezy as I will just reply to the SMS that they will sent me with my Citi Mobile pin to complete the transaction and it will just be charged directly to my Citibank Credit card.

They also don't have a minimum order requirement but they charge a flat rate of P40 no matter how big or small your order is.

The cons of Mcdelivery for me:

• Their delivery time is 1 hour and it even took them longer than an hour to have my orders delivered.
• They have limited choices for breakfast as they don’t offer their chicken meals and burgers for breakfast.

Just the same, I am thankful that they already offer delivery in our area because they don’t do that before and at least we can always count on them if ever we run out of ideas to have for breakfast.

Rethinking

In just a few months, the housing loan that we got to acquire the house and lot in Bulacan will be finish already. Now hubby and I are thinking if we will renew our loan for the renovation of our house in Bulacan or we get another loan to purchase a new town house in the city.

If we choose to stay in Bulacan, we can choose to construct a big house – we can have 5 bedrooms if we like (one for us, one for B, one for baby boy, one extra room if we plan to have a third baby, and two guest rooms). We can even have a game room where we can put billiard table, foosball tables, and the like. We can even have a den, a nice kitchen and dining room. There would even be a space for a big garden where hubby can build a playground for the kids and if in time we can afford it, we might even have a swimming pool in our backyard. But Bulacan is a few hours drive from the city and our kids will definitely go to schools in the city so it will be a long drive for them everyday which can be tiring and stressful for them. Also, our house is situated in the area of Bulacan which is not that developed yet – I am not sure if there is a cable subscriber there already and we will be very far from the malls.

If we choose to get a new town house in the city, it will be 1/10 smaller than our lot in Bulacan as lots in the city are expensive but it will be near the schools that we are considering for our kids. Plus it will be near civilization (LOL) and near my parent’s house.

Our loan will be finish by September and we really have to think about which course of action we should take for our family.

Record Breaker

Three more days at work before March ends and I am hoping that in the next three days, I won’t be late for work. I have been always early these past few weeks and so far (I am crossing my fingers) that I will not have a record of tardiness for this month.

If ever this will be the first time that it will happen. LOL. I always try to come in early and I really wanted to avoid having tardiness record per month but sometimes there are really conditions beyond my control:

• Like there is a long line of cars in the entrance of the drop off zone because the security guards have to check the cars one by one using their convex mirror before they are allowed entry in the building for security reasons.
• Or there was a road accident and there was a car and big truck blocking the road, thus causing heavy traffic.
• Or they close Roxas Boulevard (which is the route I take on my way to the office) because there is a big event either in Luneta Park or in Quirino Grandstand that my service has to take an alternate route.

So wish me luck guys and hopefully I will have a perfect no tardy record for this month.

Rimowa

Hubby left for a three weeks temporary duty out of the country last week. It was a very busy week for us and his trip was only finalize two weeks before his scheduled flight so we were not really able to prepare for it. It was only on the day before he left that we discovered that our luggage already needs a replacement.

We never really invest on good luggage but as what my dad said, for people like us who loves to travel all the time, it would be wise to get a nice quality luggage like the Rimowa luggage.

We have no travel plans actually in the next few months as I am due to give birth in June but hubby promised for a domestic vacation some time in December or January when baby boy is at least 6-7 months already so I will really make sure that we already have Rimowa luggage by then to be sure that all our things will be safe inside our luggage. And besides, our family is growing so we really need a much bigger and durable travel bag.

Excited Mommy

While I was on bed rest during my first trimester of pregnancy, I was able to start planning and conceptualizing the baptism of our baby (that’s what idle minds can do. Or should I say I am just one excited mom. LOL).

1. I was able to scout for possible venues already where we can have the reception after the baptism ceremony at church. I am thinking of having it in a clubhouse so we can bring in our own caterer which is cheaper and I will get food carts too for desserts. But since I only plan to book two months before the event, there is a possibility that the clubhouses that I am eyeing might no longer be available so we might just end up having the reception in a restaurant. I will ask hubby if we can go around probably by May along MOA and Ortigas area to scout for restaurants.
2. I already have two churches in mind where we can have the baptism ceremony. We wanted to have it in the same church where B got baptized but if we can’t find a reception venue near that church, we might try Shrine of Jesus as there are a lot of new restaurants and venues near that area.
3. I already listed possible souvenirs for the guests and the god parents. I saw the promotional bags that our office is giving away to their contacts so I am thinking of ordering the same and have it personalized with our child’s name and date and place of the event and we can use it as holders for the souvenir (I am thinking of giving wine to the god parents).
4. I already made a budget sheet so hubby (the manager) will be aware at how much he needs to save up for this event. LOL.
5. I already made my guest list which is really important as the number of guests will dictate how big a venue we will need.
6. We already have at the top of our heads, the god parents that we will be asking for our baby boy.

So can you really say now that I am one excited mommy? LOL.

Happy

That is how I will describe my week today because everyday since Saturday, hubby was able to go online and chat with us and see him via webcam. He has been posted in Micronesia for three weeks and it is very difficult to get a good Internet connection. Hubby said he even has to hike two mountains to be able to buy an Internet card. So he horded all the Internet cards that he can get that is why he was able to go online everyday to talk to us. At least it was a good way to help us not to miss him so much.

I know it is part of his job and I should not complain because it is his responsibility but like what I said in my previous posts, I don’t think I will get used to this kind of setup. That is why I made him promise that he will not be going out of the country at least in the next six months. Or if ever he really needs to leave, B, the baby and I should all be tagging along with him. LOL.

I really can’t wait for this weekend to pass because it means that after next week, I will just have to wait for one more day and we will be fetching hubby in the airport. We miss him so much already and B and I can’t wait to see dad again on April 6.

Friday 5 for March 26: Sleep

1. How many hours’ sleep do you need in order to be at your best, and what’s the minimum you can get on a regular basis and still be functional? I think I need 10 hours of sleep before I can say that I will be at my best but I rarely get 10 hours of sleep now because I have been so busy with work and with being a mom that I only get to sleep 6 hours a day. And I think that is my minimum in order to still be functional because even though I only get 6 hours of sleep on a regular basis, I still get to do my work in the office.
2. What’s your favorite sleeping position? Lying on my left side especially now that I am 7 months pregnant and they say that lying on my side is the recommended sleeping position for pregnant woman like me.
3. What was the cause of your most recent difficulty sleeping? My pregnancy. I am too big now to get a very comfortable good night sleep.
4. When you can’t seem to drift off to sleep right away, what are some things you do to bring about sleep? Go online, check my emails, chat with my friends, blabber in twitter, play CafĂ© World.
5. When did you last doze off at an inappropriate time or in an inappropriate place? When I just got back from our Europe tour and I was still jet lag that I really can’t control my sleepiness that I fell asleep while taking my ride to the office.

Join us here.

Surprise for Hubby

We only have one care right now. Since our daughter goes to school already, we always leave the car with my father so he can drive our daughter to school everyday. Hubby and I initially planned to buy our second car by third quarter of this year so we have our own car to use. And since our second baby is coming this July, we will need a much bugger car for our growing family.

But looks like we will have a change of mind with our plan to buy a second car. Our housing loan will be finish soon and now my husband is thinking to avail of a new loan for the renovation of our house so we can finally push through with our plans to move in to our dream house. So if we will avail of the housing loan, then we have to postpone our plan to purchase a second car.

I know how much my husband would love to buy a much bigger car but of course being the responsible father that he is, he will choose to provide a better house for his family first before his own comfort.

Since I will be receiving my mid-year bonus soon, I am now thinking of using it to buy toyota accessories to jazz up our Totoya Vios. At least, hubby might not get a new car but at least he has his new jazzed up Vios to use.

A friend recommended CarID because this is where he purchased his car accessories too. I checked out their site and it has a whole range of accessories for our Toyota Vios which I am sure will really look good in our car. Now all I have to do is order the accessories that I want and I am sure, hubby will be delighted and happy to see the new look of his car.

Sleeping Late Tonight

Looks like I will be sleeping late tonight again. That is why the first thing on my to-do list for tonight is to search for the best way to remove blackheads because I will surely have blackheads problem if I will continue with this routine of sleeping late every night. Good thing blackheadremoval.org already listed the top 3 blackhead removal solutions that will surely help me with my blackhead problems.

I have been lazy these past few days and I suddenly loose my blogging mojo. Probably because I was really thinking about hubby’s trip and I am not in the mood to work as I am terribly missing hubby. But my work is already piling up and I really have to start working again. So even if I still feel uninspired and lazy, I better get my grooves back as I really need to finish all my pending jobs.

Fiesta

Subject: Lunch
...at the pantry.

CHICKEN RELLENO
BEEF CALDERETA
PORK ROAST
CHICKEN WITH GREEN PEAS & QUAIL EGGS
EMBOTIDO GRANDE
MORCON
PALABOK
FRUIT SALAD

- Aurea, Eric G., Marlon, Rodel and Tibet

Yah, we really had a fiesta today for our lunch. Five of our February and March celebrants treated the whole section for lunch today and boy was I really full after. I had more than two cups of rice I think. LOL. If only I am not pregnant, I would have read about alli reviews as soon as I arrived home as I will really need diet medications to help me loose weight (but did you know that alli is the only FDA approved over the counter diet medication which means that it is really safe. So after giving birth, I will really use alli to help me go back to my pre-pregnancy weight).

After lunch, I feel that my tummy is really heavy that I have to sit down and rest for a few minutes before I was able to go back to work. LOL. But at least now I have all the reasons to pig out as I am feeding a baby inside me.

AI Elimination Night

We arrived home late today and so I was not able to catch today’s episode of American Idol. I have seen the performances of the top 12 contestants last night and almost all of them did well and so I am wondering who got kicked off tonight.

As I did my research on the Internet, the elimination was between Paige Miles, Tim Urban and Lacey Brown. For Lacey Brown, Simon said that Lacey is performing like an actress and advised Lacey to stop over thinking it and just be herself. For Paige Miles, she is a bit struggling that night because she has laryngitis but the judges commended her because in spite of her laryngitis, she was still able to hit big notes with her performance. For Tim Urban, the judges find it weird how he did his version of the "Under my Thumb" song because it is a rock song and he did a reggae version of it which sounds a bit weird.

Let us take a look at the performances of these three contestants who are included in this week’s bottom three:

But in the end, it was Lacey Brown who got eliminated. She was actually one of the contestants whom the judges was really not that 100% happy about so I am not really surprise why she was voted out this week.

Baby # 2: Boy

It is confirmed, we are having a baby boy for our second child. I am so excited as I know how much hubby wants to have a baby boy this time. I even researched about Chinese Calendar and tried to learn it by heart as it will help us get a better chance of having a baby boy. We even followed the diets and scientific tips suggested by friends on how we can have a baby boy.

So no matter how ugly and haggard I look now - I have acne breakouts, big nose, darkened neck and underarms, I don’t really care because hubby and I are happy that God granted our wish. (And besides all these physical problems that I have right now can be easily solve like my problems with acne. There are even products in the market right now for acne scar removal and there are websites like acnescarremoval.org which can simply my search for acne scar removal products because they already did the reviews and listed the best products that they can confidently recommend to the consumer).

Hubby and I have been discussing already what name we can give our baby boy. I have been reading my Baby Names book again to get ideas on good names but we already have a few choices in mind already. We will reveal it soon when we have finally made our choice on what name to give our precious baby boy.

Travel Plans for 2010

My best friend called me today and is asking me if I want to join him for a vacation in Singapore this coming June. If only I am not pregnant, I would have said yes right away and will join him in booking a ticket for our flight to Singapore.

But I told him, that looks like there will be no travel for me for now because I am already 7th months pregnant and our next target date for travel will be this coming December when our son is already six months old. I told him that we are planning to go to Shangri-la Boracay because I saw the pictures of my friend Jacqui when she went there a few days ago and I really fell in love with the place.

My best friend’s next question was: “Do you think you are already back to your pre-pregnancy weight by then?” When I had my first child, it took me more than six months to loose weight and so this time, I am planning to use any of the best diet pills listed from the site of godietpills.com to help me go back to my pre-pregnancy weight fast so I will really be ready to wear my swimsuit again when we hit Boracay this December. LOL. (Call me vain but I guess, there is really nothing wrong in wanting to still look great even after giving birth. LOL.)

I am excited already. It has been months since we last went on a vacation because I can’t do any travel because of my condition. But I already sealed the deal with hubby and he already promised that we will go to Shangri-La Boracay with our two kids come December.

Improving Business with Chet Holmes

I was chatting with my fried the other day and she can’t help but share her worries with me because her husband lost his job. His husband has good working experience but the company where he is working is totally closing down this month because they have been badly affected by the economic recession.

In today’s difficult economy, companies really have to work really hard to make their business survive these trying times. They not only need good products and service to attract customers and increase sales, but the company has to have good leadership to manage the company and the staff well.

I have been reading National News Today and read about Chet Holmes. Chet Holmes is the president and Chief Executive Officer of his company, Chet Holmes International and what his company does is provide trainings to businesses and companies to help them improver their business process, and in the end will allow them to double sales and gain advantage over their competitors.

So why get Chet Holmes International to help you improve your business? Chet Holmes has more than thirty years of experience in the business and he is America's greatest sales executive as he is always the top producer in every company that he was in. He also worked with 60 of the Fortune 500 companies so he is the excellent source for expert advice on how to improve the company’s business processes. His training program includes sitting down with the company’s employees one hour per week to identify the problems and find the fix to those problem.

Every company should definitely consider Chet Holmes’ method on how to improve their business. You can also read more about Chet by checking out his book entitled The Ultimate Sales Machine (Portfolio).

American Idol Top 12

I was able to catch American Idol last night and they already picked the Top 12 finalist already. I was only able to see the last four performances and saw only on replay the 12 contestants that are included in this season’s top 12.

So far, my favorite is Big Mike and Lee Dewyze. I love Big Mike because he performs from the heart. He is really in his zone every time he performs and it looks like he is really having so much fun.

I love Lee on the other hand because aside from his great voice, he really is so handsome and I can see in his aura the personality of my all time favorite idol, Elliott Yamin.

The Top 12 finalists were asked to choose from the song pieces of the Rolling Stones band. Below is the song list of al the twelve contestants:

Michael Lynche – "Miss You”
Didi Benami – “Play With Fire”
Casey James – “It’s All Over Now”
Lacey Brown – “Ruby Tuesday”
Andrew Garcia – “Gimme Shelter”
Katie Stevens – “Wild Horses”
Tim Urban – “Under My Thumb”
Siobhan Magnus – “Paint It Black”
Lee DeWyze – “Beast Of Burden”
Paige Miles – “Honky Tonk Women”
Aaron Kelly – “Angie”
Crystal Bowersox – “You Can’t Always Get What You Want”

Website for our CP Store

I am no businessman. But my brother is gifted when it comes to this area as all the business that he handles become really successful. That is why when he asked me if I want to be a business partner for the cell phone shop that he started a few years back, I did not think twice and I made the investment with him.

I actually don’t play a big part for this business venture as all I do is just provide my share for the investment and just wait every month for the earnings that he will divide equally among the two of us. And since this is also his full time job, he is the one who is at the store seven days a week, to personally manage his business.

But because of the effects of recession, the cell phone shop is not doing that good as compared to previous months and so I thought that I really have to help my brother this time and do my part as a business partner to help improve our business.

And that is when I thought of making a website for our cell phone store. (Now this is my forte). I already started setting up the site and although it still needs a few more work, I think we will be able to launch it in a few days time. I also have been reading the site of seosoftware.org as they offer the best seo software. Their software is free (which is really one of the best parts of it) and what they do is that they organized a list of web directories where I can submit our new website to increase web traffic which will eventually improve our site’s positioning in the world wide web.

I know that Internet is one of the most effective marketing tools and I hope that by setting up this website, we will be able to attract more customers in our cell phone store.

On Flowers and Wedding Preparations

Someone close to me will be tying the knot soon and I can’t help but feel excited for them. Since they know that I love wedding preparations and I was once a hands-on-bride-to-be when we we’re still preparing for our wedding, they asked for my help in the preparations of their own wedding.

Almost everything is set already as they already booked the church and the reception venue and the other major suppliers like the photographers and caterers. The only thing left for them to book is the florist and the gown designer.

They asked me to prioritize looking for a florist since they wanted to get the best florist in town because they want the arrangement of the flowers to set the mood and theme for their wedding. The couple is hands-on when it comes to the flowers that will be use for their wedding as they believe that selecting the best flowers will really set a romantic theme for the reception venue. They have shown me pictures of the flowers that they want and how it will be arranged and their inputs will really be helpful for me in choosing the best florist and wedding stylist for their wedding.

I am really excited for this wedding and I am really honored that the couple has given me their trust so I will really make sure that I will give my 100% so they can have the wedding of their dreams.

Investment

I once asked a friend on what is the best investment nowadays. She is a finance analyst and works for a very reputable bank here and so I really trust her opinion. And so when she said that if we can afford it, then gold investment is the best investment that we can have, I believed her right away that I quickly did some readings about gold investment.

Gold is very tangible and unlike paper currency and other assets, it doesn’t depreciate in time. It is also widely accepted that we can easily convert it to cash if needed.

Upon hearing this, I did some readings and landed on the page of US Gold Bureau where I learned a lot about gold investment. They also have the best staff that can help first time investors like me to choose if I should buy gold coins, gold bars or gold bouillons. They also have good contacts in the market so I will be sure that I will get the best investment for my hard earned money.

Since we can never really tell what the future holds, it is always wise to invest and save for future and gold investment is one of the best investment options.

Heavy

I had my checkup yesterday and I can’t believe that I already gained 18 pounds since I got pregnant. My tummy is in fact really very heavy and big as compared to my first pregnancy.

I am just on my second trimester and it is suppose to be the most comfortable stage of my pregnancy, but as early as now I can’t walk properly and stand for a long time because I get tired easily and I feel pain in my back because my tummy is really getting heavy. I can’t even get a good night sleep and I have to wake up every now and then to find a more comfortable sleeping position that is why I have these ugly eye bugs (Can you recommend the best eye cream out there to help me with these eye bugs? I actually have been reading reviews in best-eye-creams.net but I can’t seem to make up my mind on the best eye cream that will work for me so any recommendations will be greatly appreciated.) Thank goodness because my OB recommended maternity support that will support my tummy. I tried it yesterday and it really feels much better. I was out the whole day but I did not really feel as much pain as before.

I am almost past my second trimester and I can’t wait to finally see our second bundle of joy.

Baby Boy?

“I am sure your second baby will be a boy.”

This is the common comment that I am getting from families and friends. I haven’t had an ultrasound yet but they all think that I am having a baby boy this time. Maybe I really look haggard and I am having an acne breakout (yeah, my acne is that bad since I got pregnant and so I am really looking for acne solutions to solve it. I actually read reviews in acnesolution.org to get feedbacks on the best acne solution in the market).

But honestly, I love it every time they tell me that I look so haggard that it is really obvious that it is a baby boy that I am carrying this time. LOL. I actually wouldn’t mind if I am having another baby girl, but of course it would be nice to have a baby boy so dad can have someone to share his passions with. B is also already expecting a baby brother and she even have a name for his baby brother.

We will be going to Baby Ultrasound Company at SM San Lazaro later for the congenital anomaly scan and 3D/4D ultrasound and we will finally know the gender of our baby soon. We all can’t wait and we are all very excited.

Road to Recovery

A good friend of mine admitted to me that he is in deep trouble because of his problems with his drug addiction. He said that it really took him great courage to finally admit what state he is in right now but he finally realized that there is no way out of this mess, except to seek help so he is asking for my assistance in helping him find a drug rehabilitation center that will help him solve his addiction problems.

I am so proud of my friend because I know how difficult it is to finally come out in the open and admit his problem that is why I am giving him my 100% support for this.

I was watching the news a few weeks ago and they mentioned that Tiger Woods was admitted to a rehabilitation center too to help him with his addiction problems and that is when I remembered about Passages Malibu.

I checked out Passages Malibu blog and I read about the method they use to help their patients. They don’t just rely on group meeting and group sessions but patients have one-on-one sessions with a therapist for a more individualized and confidential treatment which I think will really work for my friend because he is not comfortable in discussing his past and his problems with a big group.

I also checked out Passages Malibu Pictures and I was able to have an online tour of their facilities which I think is really nice and I am sure my friend will really feel relax and at home.

I am so happy that my friend took the first step to solve his problem and we will be with him 100% so he can finally take the road to recovery.

Food Trip Friday

Last Friday, hubby has to drop his newly bought pre-loved camera at Canon for service and cleaning and since I am already off from work, I just decided to wait for him so he can pick me up after his short trip to Canon Service Center. After fetching me, he has to drop by at the office to get some of his work that he has to bring home and instead of waiting in the car, I told him that I will just wait at Wendy’s since I am really craving for their salad. And so after just a few minutes of waiting, I quickly finished my garden fresh salad:

I left the three green gelo because I don’t like its taste as compared to the red gelo. Next time, I will try their baked potato because I can’t remember the last time I had this and this used to be one of my favorite dishes in Wendy’s when I was still in college.

Yaya Less but Stress Free

I have no yaya for more than a month now. We only have a stay out house help who comes in every morning to clean the house, wash B’s clothes, wash the bottles and help my mom prepare B in the morning for school. But in the evening, it is me and hubby who takes care of B and my mom takes care of her while we are in the office.

The set up is a bit tiring since hubby and I are both working so after a long day at work, sometimes we just wanted to lie down and rest but I guess we like this set up better since we haven’t been looking for a replacement nanny yet.

Maybe we just got tired of looking for a nanny because the last three that we tried just made me crazy and more stressed out that I feel that I will really need hair loss treatment because I already have falling hair probably because of stress. I even checked out the site HairLossTreatment-s.net and read reviews on the best hair loss treatment for me.

But I know in time we will really need a nanny especially I am about to give birth in three months and I am sure my mom can’t handle a baby and a toddler. I am just praying that someday, God will answer our prayers and He will send a nanny to us who will really show concern for our kids.

To the Beach

I snagged these pictures from my friend Jacqui’s, flickr account.

These are just some of the pictures she has taken when she went to Shangri-La in Boracay and I just so envy her. I love the beach and I wish that I can just pack my bag and go on an out of town trip with my family to the beach especially now that summer is really here.

Just like Shangri-La Boracay, I also want to try one of those Outer Banks vacation rentals that my friend is raving about. Since she knows that my family are beach lovers, she knows that we will definitely enjoy our stay at Outer Banks since it is very near the ocean and there are lots of activities that we can do there like fishing and visit some nice spots in Outer Banks. Plus their houses are well furnished that we will surely have a fun and relaxing time there.

Hopefully we can travel again a few months after I give birth. So for now, all I can do is day dream and wish….

My Mom

When I went to my doctor last month for my check up, my mom went with me as she is experiencing some problems with her health again because of her high blood pressure. Her doctor advised her to have several laboratory exams to check her condition and to see what is causing the sudden shoot up of her blood pressure.

But my mom is really scared to have all those laboratory exams done because she said that she might not like the results. I convinced her several times to have the exams and she promised that she will have it done before my checkup so she can go with me with the laboratory results when I next visit my doctor. But I totally forgot to remind my mom and I will be having my check up tomorrow already and still she did not have the chance to have the laboratory exams done.

Her doctor said that we really should monitor her blood pressure because the sudden shoot up of her BP is the one that is dangerous. That is why I ordered wristech blood pressure monitor for her so she can just snap it in her wrist anywhere she is and she can quickly and accurately check her BP. This is really a must have tool for my mom.

Health is really important so I will really make sure that my mom will have those laboratory exams done right away. I will take a leave from work so I can accompany her myself so she will have no more reasons not to have the exams done.
