Adobo Recipe from Del Monte Kitchenomics

Adobo. It is a food that we can say is distinctly Filipino. This is also actually the first dish that I tried cooking as my mom and my aunt said that it is very easy to cook.

I got this email from Del Monte Kitchenomics sharing their new twist for the classic Adobo recipe that I would like to share here:

Ingredients:

• 1 pack DEL MONTE Sandosenang Sarap All-in-One Seasoning (18 g)
• ½ tbsp oil
• ½ kg pork kasim, cut up
• 1½ tbsp DEL MONTE Red Cane Vinegar
• 1 pc small laurel
• ¼ tsp peppercorn, crushed

Procedure:
1. Sauté DEL MONTE Sandosenang Sarap All-in-One Seasoning in oil for a few seconds. Add pork, sauté for 10 minutes.
2. Add 1/3 cup water and remaining ingredients. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes over low heat.
Makes 4 servings.
See, all it takes is just two simple steps and your adobo is ready.
