I got an email in one of my yahoo groups about an invitation to support the Benefit Concert to raise funds for the medical expenses of a five year old boy named Mio for treatment of cancer.
I was in tears while reading the blog oh her mom and I can just feel the pain and I can’t imagine myself being in that situation. Imagine. His son is only five years old, he still has a lot in store for him and to see your son suffer an excruciating pain is just a stab in my heart.
Their hospital bills are skyrocketing and so Mio’s mom is asking for support to help them sustain the treatment that Mio needs (this is why I was really reminded to look for affordable health insurance for my parents as they are not under my HMO right now, just so their health needs will be covered).
Luckily they have friends who organized a concert for Mio:

7pm at the Music Museum.
Tickets are sold @ 300, 500 & 700, available at Ticketworld. Performers include Billy Crawford, the Valencianos, Karylle, Kris Lawrence, Jay-R, Amber Davis, Jed Madella, Kjwan, Pupil, Archipelago, Imago, Akafellas among others. Hosted by Mo Twister, Grace Lee & Mojo Jojo.
All proceeds go to Mio's treatment. Performers are all pro bono.

thanks for posting Mio fights cancer the concert has been moved to oct.9, 2009 at 8pm, music museum. Pls let us support this worthy cause for mio and his chemo-mates as well.May the get to live life to the fullest! thank you!
