A friend of ours recently just had their house built and she told me that it costs a lot more to maintain it. They have had their house for only a year but they need to shell out money again for termite inspection and pest control. They weren’t able to invest on wood that is anti-termite (they are sprayed with a solution for them to be termite-free supposedly) because it costs double the amount so every year they need to do the inspection.
