When I was in Canada I saw a commercial about memory foam mattress. These are mattresses developed by NASA. The difference of these mattresses from ordinary mattresses is that the mattress conforms to your body thereby distributing the weight to give a more relaxing sleep.
When I saw the commercial, I immediately thought of my aunt who is suffering from scoliosis. She has this condition for years now and most of the time; she suffers from extreme back pain. She even resigned from her job as she can no longer take the extreme pain that her scoliosis is giving her. And so I thought, getting her a memory foam mattress can help ease the pain that she is experiencing. Then we can also get her a neck support pillow, which just like the mattress, conforms to the head giving additional comfort when sleeping.
Of course everyone enjoys the relaxing feeling of getting a good night sleep. I for one love the comfort that a good night sleep brings so I though that even if I don’t have a scoliosis, I too can enjoy the comfort that these types of mattresses, pillows and massage tables bring. So we might get one for us too.
