My Shopaholic Series again

I was compiling the receipts of the purchases that I made when we were in Singapore and I realized that the retroactive pay that I will be getting this coming payday will just be allotted for the payment of my credit card bills.

One thing I learned from my father when travelling is that when I am out of the country, I should avoid converting to my local currency specially if it is just for small items. Otherwise, I will just end up converting all the time and I will not be able to buy anything since it will always be much expensive if I buy it abroad. That is what happened the first time I was out of the country. Every time I will shop, I will always take out my cell phone to convert to my local currency, and at the end of my trip, I was not able to buy anything.

So when I was shopping in Singapore, I didn’t convert and I just swipe and swipe my credit card for all my purchases. It is only now that I realized that I spend a big amount of money for shopping and when dining out. But that is okay. At least we were able to have great fun and I bought a lot of souvenirs and toys for my dear daughter. That is something money cannot replace.
