Accident Happens

We were on our way home from Bela’s school after they fetched me from work and we passed by the pier area. This is the route that we always pass by every time we go home from my office. I was a little bit shaken since we almost got hit by a truck. I have trauma when it comes to car accidents since we have been hit by a truck two times already. We were lucky since it is just a minor accident and Howell and I didn’t get hurt. But then again, we were left with a big dent on our car that we have to send our car to the shop for repair. Since our car is previously owned and we bought it direct from the owner, we did not get the chance to get auto insurance for our car which leaves us with an unexpected expense for car repairs which is really difficult to squeeze in our tight budget.

So after this afternoon’s experience, it reminded me and my husband again that it is really important to get a car insurance. My dad has always been reminding us to put this in our top priority but sometimes, we can really be hard headed that we have been ignoring that fact that we are unsecured every time we step in our car.

Insurance is really important since it will really save us all the hassle and headache in case an accident happens and I swear accidents do happen. So my husband and I should really sit down and talk about it and check and compare car insurance online so we can put getting a car insurance at the top of our budget for next month.
