I have mentioned here a number of times already about my husband’s trip to Majuro this coming Friday. But before that, he will be leaving later for Bicol which is 9-12 hours drive from Manila and then take the plane the next day because he has to catch his flight to Majuro for June 6. It is the town fiesta in their hometown and his whole family will go there since his brother will be the one to officiate the mass. The mass is also being offered for the 40th wedding anniversary of hubby’s parents so he would really like to attend.

He has been bugging me to go with him for this trip but I always say NO. I am really against this trip since it is a long drive from Manila. Imagine, they will leave evening of June 4, then they will arrive in Bicol around 6 AM of June 5 then he has to leave their town by 10 AM to catch his 1:20 PM flight. This would really be tiring and I’m worried as he has another flight to catch the next day.

But I know how much my husband wanted to be with his family and I understand where he is coming from. Now I’m having second thought and I feel like I wanted to go with him to Bicol. But this means I have to take a day off from work which I don’t think is possible since I really have a lot of backlogs and we also have to leave Bela since we don’t want her to have a stressful journey. So what do you think, should I go wit hubby or not?
