In less than two weeks, we will be leaving for our much awaited Singapore trip. I’m so excited as this is our first time in Singapore. I really haven’t finalized our itinerary. I have to consult hubby first as I will ask him to check the maps so we can better plan our destinations. I have been checking the Visit Singapore website and there are really a lot of interesting places to visit so we really have to make a plan as we will only be there for four days and 3 nights.
But before I get all excited with this trip, I remember I have to get a Travel Tax Exemption certificate from the Philippine Tourism Authority. Minors who are between 2-12 years old are entitled for a travel tax reduced rate. This means I only have to pay P810 for Bela instead of paying the full rate which is P1620.
I checked the PTA website and the only document that they require to get the certificate is the original passport or the original Birth Certificate and photocopy of ID page of passport in case the original passport can’t be presented. And the certificate will be release the same day so I can do all of this on July 1 which is our holiday.
