On to her 2nd Trimester

They say that the most sensitive stage in a woman’s pregnancy is during the first trimester. Several pregnancy complications occur during this stage like bleeding, excessive vomiting and even abortion. Pregnant women are suggested to take extra care during this stage of their pregnancy.

My best friend is now pregnant and it is her second pregnancy. Sad to say, when she had her first one, she had a miscarriage during the first trimester. But I am glad that she is doing much better now and she is now in her second trimester. She was really extra careful this time and she really followed all that her OB Gyne told her to do.

She is really excited for the coming of their baby. She just had her check up last week and the doctor said that the baby is doing ok – the weight is ok, the rate of the heart beat is normal and looks like the baby is growing according to its gestational age.

I’m so excited too to finally see my friend become a mother. In fact I’m too excited that I already browse the site of Doodlebug Dezigns and I have checked their section for photo birth announcements. I already made some choices that I would give my friend when she gave birth. Do check it out. The designs are all so cute that I’m having a hard time choosing.
