Finally after six days of not having an Internet connection, my internet provider was able to send an engineer this afternoon to check on the problem. But I was really dissatisfied with their service. First, their technical support staffs who respond to calls from clients don’t look like they are competent enough to answer all my technical concerns. Every time I would call, they always have a hard time explaining to me what the problem was. Second. I can’t understand why it took them six days to finally fix the problem. And third, sometimes my connection is really slow and sluggish.
And so I thought that this is really a perfect timing to look for another Internet Service provider. I have been asking around and have been comparing different services like DSL, Cable Internet and Fiber Internet and looks like Satellite Internet is the best option.
My friend who is subscribed to Hughes Net Satellite Internet had no qualms or complains whatsoever with the service that she is getting from them. What is best with this type f Internet connection is that it is always on so there is no need to dial up or log in. Plus it is available everywhere since all you need is a clear view of the sky to get a good signal from its two way satellite.
I think Hughesnet is the best option for us as the replacement to our existing Smart Bro WiFi connection. I just have to wait for my husband’s approval and I will definitely put this in my priority list as I really want a new Internet service provider as Smart Bro really sucks.
