His journey after high school

Have you heard of the school Hebrew University of Jerusalem (HU)? My cousin who is an incoming first year high school at Philippine Science has been reading about Hebrew University and is interested in the Technology Transfer Services that they offer to their students.

So how does Technology Transfer works? Hebrew University encourages its staffs and students to explore new things and invent new ideas. They do this by providing their staff and students the resources that they need like the research budget and senior faculty member who can guide the students and the staff with their inventions and new ideas. And then it is Yissum Research Development Company, which is the technology transfer company of the Hebrew University, who will do the protection, promotion and managing of the inventions of Hebrew University’s staff and students.

Hebrew University does University Technology Transfer to Yissum company since Yissum has the resources to further develop and exploit the technology into new products that will be saleable to the consumers.

This is a good service being offered by the university since it encourages its students to think of new ideas and they will even provide the means on how to develop this ideas into something that will benefit the public. That is why my cousin got really interested with Hebrew Unviversity since thatis the kind of university that he is looking when it is time for him to go to college.
