Our desktop PC is installed in the bedroom while the laptop is at the living room. But if my husband has to work on our desktop PC, I have to bring the laptop up to our room so I can work too once my daughter is already sleeping.

To answer your question, Terapad is a blog platform, (like blogger/blogspot in a URL). Their free blogs are ad supported but I won a lifetime of an ad free blog by using my skills to make my blog "pretty" by doing some simple css coding.
