Survivor is one of my favorite reality TV shows. I remember before, when it is still being shown at AXN, I would watch every episode and even all the reruns. I was so addicted to it that I will prefer to just stay at home and watch it instead of going out with my friends.
That’s why when my cousin who works for GMA told me that GMA just acquired a franchise for the TV show Survivor, I got really excited.
The concept of the show is that 16 castaways will be stranded in an isolated island where they will stay there for 39 days. They will be divided into two groups or tribes and each tribe will battle it out to win the immunity challenge. Whoever will loose the challenge will have to go to the Tribal Council where they need to vote out one of their tribe members. When there are only ten castaways left, they will be merge into one tribe. All those who have been voted out will return to form the jury to vote who will be the survivor when there are only two castaways left.
The host of the show will be Paolo Bediones. I was hoping Marc Nelson will be the host since he now has a show with GMA. I find it more fitting for him to host the show than Paolo (or maybe I’m just bias since I love Marc. LOL).
Auditions for the said show will start this May and they say that the taping will be in a remote island in South East Asia. I wonder where that would be.
