Off to the Beach

Summer is really here. You can really feel the scorching heat of the sun and it is really the perfect time to pack your micro bikini, your board shorts and some surfing and snorkeling gear and hit the beach.

That’s one thing that I like about our country. We have a lot of great beaches to choose from and we can instantly hit the beach with just a couple of hours drive from the city.

Unfortunately, it is almost the end of the summer season and we haven’t had a short trip to the beach yet. My husband and I have been very busy that we can’t squeeze even a short trip to the beach during the weekends.

But he is planning to take us to the beach this weekend as his mother’s day treat for me. My daughter will have a grand time there for sure because she really loves the beach. I remember when we went to Boracay and Bohol, it would be really difficult to get her out of the water as she really enjoys the waves and the beach.

And since it is still peak season, it reminds me that I better start calling the resorts now to make reservations.
