Going Home

Looks like summer is already over as it is raining almost everyday this past few days. Too bad we were not able to hit the beach or any resort this summer because we are really had a busy summer.

This afternoon, it started to rain a few minutes before I go home. I decided to take the LRT since I thought it is the fastest way to go home. But when I reached Buendia station, there are a lot of passengers waiting for the train to arrived. And when the train finally came, it was so full that I did not even try to make my way in. I thought it would be impossible to get a ride within the next 30 minutes since most of the trains coming are full and there are still a lot of passengers on queue.

So instead I went down and decided to take the FX to Divisoria. Since it has been raining, the streets of Divisoria were muddy but I think I made the right decision. I arrived in Divisoria within 30-45 minutes and I was even able to sleep on my way there. If I have not decided to take the FX, I would have still be in Buendia station waiting to catch a train. And even if I will be able to ride one of the trains, for sure I would be standing the entire trip.

So even though I have to face the muddy streets of Divisoria, at least I was still able to go hope early and did not catch the rush hour. For sure it would be rally difficult to go home during rush hour since it has been raining non stop. And you know what it is like during rainy season here in Manila – heavy traffic, flooded streets, and a lot of stranded passengers.
