My husband will be leaving this coming June for a temporary duty to Majuro. Our initial plan was that my daughter and I will go with her for a short vacation but when we found out that the airfare will cost around $1800, we suddenly change our mind.
My husband said that there is really nothing much we can do in Majuro since there are no malls there or theme parks that my daughter can enjoy. So he suggested that instead of us going with him to Majuro, we can just have our vacation in Australia instead.
We can look for Sydney Hotels so we can visit the Sydney opera House, or join a sunset dinner cruise along Sydney Harbour. For sure, my daughter will really enjoy if we visit the Sydney Aquarium and Taronga Park Zoo.

We can also look for Melbourne Hotels and check out the Parliament House of Victoria, Melbourne Zoo, Melbourne Museum or watch a movie at the IMAX Cinema.

I have a friend who lives in Brisbane and he wants us to stay in his place if ever we go to Australia but we would still want to look for Brisbane hotels where we can stay so we can truly feel that we are a tourist in Australia while visiting Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary or the City Botanic Gardens.

I think my husband’s suggestions makes a lot of sense. Instead of spending $1800 each to go to an island, then it would more fun to visit Australia instead.
