During my childhood, my friends would always mix their rice with powdered milk and sugar and they really enjoy eating it.

I usually sleep late now because I have to do some blogging before going to sleep. And then I have to have my flat pillow and blanket so I can go to sleep.

I've had that appetizer as a kid too...good feast
we mix milk with our "champorado" ... but with plain rice, no. :)

I never heard of rice with powdered milk and sugar but it's probably good. Great feast.
I used to eat rice with milk and sugar as either a breakfast or an after school snack. The milk was warm in winter and cold in summer :-)
So .... if you are voting in 2010 you aren't in the US or Australia or the UK (I think I have my years right on that one) so can I guess you are Canadian????

I've never had rice like that, but it sounds pretty good.
I'll bet a lot of people's Main Course is about politics. I just put the first thing that popped into my brain.
I also post to my blog and visit blogs right before bed, either that or right after I wake up. It's just a habit I've gotten into.

Your appetizer reminds me of my childhood when my brothers and sisters (and I ) would play cooking/eating..and mix our rice with Milo (without water). Sometimes, it's soysauce. :-)
